Sue Morgan

SongBird Survival

Thanks to a random advert in a discarded newspaper on a London bus, Sue initially stumbled into the voluntary sector. But, she has stayed for more than thirty years, recognising that working to achieve good is the main priority driving her motivation.  She considers herself immensely fortunate to have contributed to many causes close to her heart. This includes fundraising and leadership roles at organisations including British Red Cross, Action For Children, and SongBird Survival, as well as collaborating with numerous other fantastic organisations through her work with THINK Consulting Solutions. 

 

Throughout her career, Sue has been inspired by the people she has met and worked alongside. Knowing they are the heartbeat of what makes charities special, she has always valued the importance of bringing out the best in others and providing opportunities for everyone to learn and contribute. 

 

Currently, as the CEO of SongBird Survival, Sue has been leading a programme of strategic development and change since 2021. Prior to this role, as a former Director of TEF, Sue saw first-hand the transformative impact mentoring can have on the confidence, motivation, and skills of emerging leaders.
