Rachel Calderon is the Deputy Director of Fundraising at Blood Cancer UK, where she leads the Partnerships & Philanthropy, Legacy, Regional, Sports and Supporter Relations Fundraising teams. In her role, she drives sustainable income growth, builds meaningful supporter relationships, and delivers innovative fundraising strategies to accelerate progress towards beating blood cancer.
Previously, Rachel led the International Major Donor Team at King’s College London, overseeing high net worth philanthropy partnerships. Rachel was part of the team that delivered the £500 million World questions|King's answers campaign, advancing world-class research and education initiatives.
Rachel is also a Trustee of World Book Day, where she also Chairs the Income Sub-Committee, supporting the charity’s mission to inspire a lifelong love of reading and improve access to books for all children. She has also served as an Advisory Board Member at IntoUniversity, helping the organisation expand educational opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
