Lizzie Emilion

Lizzie is the Director of Fundraising at Teach First and has been a fundraiser for over 15 years in the high value space. She began her career in hospital fundraising at The Royal Marsden, Great Ormond Street Charity and Moorfields Eye Hospital and has held senior positions at Breast Cancer Now and the NSPCC before joining Teach First in 2020.

Lizzie is a passionate advocate of the fundraising profession and loves nurturing new talent to become future fundraising leaders. She holds an MA in Philanthropy from the University of Kent and conducted a research dissertation into the problem of Sexual Harassment in Major Donor Fundraising. She is a keen volunteer having held various positions as a school governor, fundraising advisor and child mentor and now focuses her time and energy on mentoring fundraisers throughout the sector.
