Kate McGranaghan

Individual Giving Transformation Lead

Kate has worked in the charity sector for over 15 years specialising in public fundraising. She started her career at King’s College London working in the Individual Giving Team. Since then she has been lucky enough to work at Macmillan Cancer Support, Comic Relief and King’s College Hospital Charity.

She is currently the Individual Giving Transformation Lead at the MS Society overseeing a step change in our approach to acquisition and will lead to transformative income in years to come. Through this she has a huge amount of experience in negotiation and influencing change across a wide range of stakeholders.


Kate is very passionate about authentic leadership within the charity sector and supporting and developing fundraisers within the sector. As someone who has befitted immensely from mentoring, she is keen to be able to part of someone else’s leadership journey.

In her spare time she is also a Trustee at Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice and has been a volunteer Wish Maker with Make-a-Wish since 2015.
