Iain McAndrew
Director of Income Generation and Engagement
Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS)
Iain is Director of Income Generation and Engagement at Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), where he has driven significant growth and is now preparing the charity for its most ambitious appeal yet.
With 28 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications, Iain has delivered transformational work with leading charities including Guide Dogs, Save the Children, and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Since joining CHAS, he has not only led the development of a bold new fundraising strategy but also overseen the growth of Ardoch Loch Lomond, the charity’s unique social enterprise venue as a source of sustainable income and awareness.
Iain began his fundraising career with RNIB in 1998 and later served as a Trustee there from 2019 to 2024, helping to shape a new purpose for the organisation. He has also shared his expertise in voluntary and non-executive roles with Remember a Charity, Will Aid, and ADD International.
Inspired by mentors who shaped his own leadership journey, Iain now sees it as a privilege to give back through the Foundation - supporting and guiding the next generation of leaders who will transform the sector.
