Frances Milner

Frances is the Chief Executive Officer at the Leeds United Foundation, changing lives through the power of football. Before joining the Foundation, in June 2024, Frances was the Director of Fundraising and Marketing at The King’s Trust and prior to her role at the Trust she was Executive Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships at Cancer Research UK, responsible for developing and leading their high-value fundraising strategy. 

Previously to her ten years at Cancer Research UK, Frances was the Fundraising Director at Maggie’s. 

She has a broad experience of senior leadership, fundraising and marketing, is a passionate fundraising development professional having led several pioneering fundraising initiatives within the UK and internationally and undertaken many senior leadership roles across the charity sector. 

She is also a Trustee for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), a member of the Institute of Fundraising Learning and Development Committee and a mentor for both the Elischer Foundation and the University of Leeds.
