Thom Hipwood

Thom has 17 year’s of experience across the not for profit sector, and is currently a Partner at the fundraising consultancy More Partnership. Thom’s work at More includes working with a variety of clients across the sector, but with a strong focus on higher education and Health charities. He supports clients with reviewing their fundraising programmes, engaging senior stakeholders, developing strategies, creating supporter journeys, and mentoring individuals as they develop as fundraisers and leaders.

Prior to More, Thom worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Charity, Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), King’s College London and University of Manchester. Thom was also a Trustee at the Hummingbird Refugee project, based in Brighton supporting young asylum seekers and refugees.

Thom has been lucky to have benefitted from the guidance of some fantastic mentors in the past and one of the main ways he finds joy in his work is via mentoring, seeing people develop their skillsets and empowering them to solve their challenges at work.
