Ruby Jones
Ruby graduated in Psychology from the University of Leicester and went on to develop a successful career in marketing. She enjoyed the perks of working in the private sector but wanted to take her experience and follow her passion to make a difference where it is most needed. She begun her fundraising career in 2014, volunteering at Dementia UK, where she continued to work for several years in a variety of roles.
Following several other roles at national and regional charities, Ruby settled in her current role as Fundraising Manager at Groundwork UK in May 2023. This has involved the setup of a brand-new fundraising team and strategy at the national office of a federated charity.
Outside of work, Ruby has a passion for singing and helps to run a local community choir, SHE Choir Birmingham.

I’ve loved working in the fundraising sector for the last decade and have enjoyed the challenges that come with it. I’ve heard amazing things from colleagues in the sector about the Elischer Foundation program and I can’t wait to get stuck in and develop my leadership skills in a way that will be valuable to me and to the organisation I work for.
