Helen Hays
Helen Hays is Head of Prospect Development at the King’s Trust where she leads the prospecting and due diligence function across their high-value income streams. Helen started her career as a corporate fundraiser working at the V&A, Anthony Nolan and the British Heart Foundation before moving into the world of prospect research where she began her journey at the National Gallery. Helen is a former Chair of Researcher’s in Fundraising. She is also the Chair of the PTA of a primary school and a Fundraising Committee Member for the local Night Shelter.

There is no blueprint or "bible" when it comes to true fundraising leadership; I’ve always found that the most valuable skills come from the lessons learned and the experienced gained from others. The saying "No one leaves their company, they leave their manager" resonates deeply with me, and I aspire to be the kind of leader that others look up to.
Whilst this programme won’t be a magic wand that instantly transforms my career, it will be an important stepping stone in my journey. I believe the programme will provide the guidance, knowledge, and support I need to navigate challenges and grow as a leader. It will hopefully help in determining my next career steps, empower me to be the best leader.
