Richard Roberts

A passionate and results-oriented philanthropy manager with over 10 years of experience in non-profit, higher education and cultural sectors, Richard has been in post at the National Library of Wales since early 2023. Richard has a proven track record of developing and executing successful fundraising strategies, team management, establishing major donor portfolios and handling six figure relationships. His experience covers supporting Welsh organisations to raise more than £17 million from statutory, Lottery and Trusts proposals.

I am massively optimistic about the possibilities, but know that support from a skilled and experienced fundraising leader is critical in allowing the Library to reach this vast potential.
