Leeann has over 20 years of experience in fundraising, with a particular passion for community and event fundraising. Throughout her career, she has attended and cheered at more London Marathons than she can remember!!



Working in the charity sector allows Leeann to combine two of the things she enjoys most: making a meaningful difference and connecting with people. She considers it a privilege to work with supporters who are so dedicated to helping others. 



Leeann is currently Head of Mass Participation and Community Fundraising at Sands, where she leads challenge events, community fundraising initiatives and digital fundraising programmes. Over the past five years, she has grown this area of income by 217% for the organisation.
