Laura Harte
Laura is Director of a small community charity called The Berin Centre in South Oxfordshire - with no formal background in fundraising, the role of Director came with the responsibility for being the sole fundraiser for this grass-roots organisation. Laura has now developed a broad fundraising portfolio including trusts and foundations, major donors, and corporates, and completed a £500,000+ capital project, all without ever having 'fundraiser' as her job title!
With a strong background in leadership and management (previously working as a consultant delivering ILM qualifications), Laura is most comfortable when leading her small team to do good in the local community.
Laura is passionate about using powerful storytelling to leverage funding, and creating genuine partnerships with donors and supporters that bring pride and connection to both parties.
