Jen Robinson-Slater
Jen is Director of Fundraising and Communications at Learning with Parents, an educational technology charity supporting families to build habits of talk, play and exploration.
Jen began her career as a Humanities Teacher before transitioning into fundraising over a decade ago. She has developed expertise across community fundraising, events, and major donor relationships, working for charities including Alabaré, The Stroke Association, and The Prince's Trust.
Since joining Learning with Parents as the organisation's sole fundraiser in September 2024, Jen has driven significant funding growth and team development, leading to her promotion to Director in September 2025. She is particularly interested in how fundraising leadership integrates with wider organisational strategy in smaller charities.

I've been in fundraising for a decade now, and I firmly love this sector. Now I want to grow from being good at fundraising into becoming a confident strategic leader.
