Jen is passionate about connecting generous people with causes that change lives. With over a decade of experience in the charity sector, she specialises in building fundraising strategies that grow sustainable income, develop strong teams, and deepen long-term supporter relationships. She is currently Head of Fundraising at Scripture Union (SU) Scotland, where she leads a multi-year strategy across several income streams and inspires her team to deliver impact.

Previously, Jen was Fundraising Manager at SU New Zealand, where she grew the appeals programme, developed the trusts and foundations approach, and piloted a major donor programme. Before that, she led church and community fundraising at SU England & Wales, developing national campaigns to engage churches and communities. Between these roles, she spent a memorable season working on a lavender farm in New Zealand.

Jen began her charity career at World Vision UK managing fundraising events, after earlier roles managing chalets in the French Alps and teaching sailing in the Mediterranean. She studied Natural Sciences at Durham University, including psychology, which continues to shape her understanding of what motivates generosity.
