
Alex Gregg
Alex began his career in communications and marketing before moving into the charity sector 13 years ago. Originally from Australia, he brings an international perspective to his work, alongside a Master of Business, majoring in philanthropy and non-profit studies, grounding his practical experience in strong academic insight.
Over his time in the sector, Alex has developed a passion for fundraising and driving social impact, particularly across health, medical research and emergency response. His experience spans individual giving, corporate, community, commercial and digital fundraising, giving him a broad perspective on income generation. He specialises in direct response marketing and integrated fundraising communications, combining a strong analytical approach with a focus on using data and insight to drive performance.
In his current role as Head of Individual Giving and Engagement at Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, Alex leads teams across individual giving, marketing and communications, and data and insight, with a focus on delivering transformational growth alongside an exceptional donor experience. As a leader, he is committed to building collaborative, high-performing teams and helping organisations become more insight-led and effective in delivering their mission.
Outside of work, Alex is a father to two young daughters, a role that continually shapes how he thinks about impact and the future.
