Lisa Condon
With 14 years experience in fundraising, Lisa started her charity career within arts and heritage with a theatre box office role offering a taste of fundraising and building on this with a move to Edinburgh. The Edinburgh International Festival gave her the bug and passion for fundraising – helped by an inspirational leader and team – and provided the backbone to Lisa’s interest in relationship fundraising and future focus in philanthropy.
Other arts and heritage fundraising roles followed, building this skillset further and becoming more specialised within the high value space. A move to an NHS health charity offered a leadership role within high value, developing budgets and strategies, working closely with senior stakeholders, and focusing on capital fundraising. Lisa recently moved back into arts and heritage, with a role at Natural History Museum and bringing her back to her first love of major donor fundraising within a sector she is passionate about.

I applied to this programme to equip myself with the knowledge, tools and confidence to become an inspirational fundraising leader, in the hope I can inspire others in the way I have been by specific leaders throughout my career. Now feels like the right time to invest time and learning in myself, push boundaries and discover who I could be as a leader. I hope to build on my strengths and weaknesses, grow in confidence and develop my influencing skills, through the guidance and support offered through the mentoring and connecting with like-minded people.
